About project
Discotech was imagined as the app that would be as game-changing for nightlife event organizers as for users booking events and venues. It would be the one app where organizers could easily fill their places with serious attendees, and users out for the best nightlife could score insider deals and 24/7 booking, rebooking and more.
The users looking for nightclubs and events would browse to discover nightlife based on their own criteria. That included previewing venue photos, seeing table prices and menus, seeing which artists are playing where, and even discover where their friends are going. Finally, they could make reservations and buy tickets in a tap.

Project overview
The founders of Discotech had an idea to create an app where users could do more than just buy event tickets. Users could browse events and nightlife based on developed search criteria; they could see what`s hot; they could even see where friends are going. The app would help organizers, too, by turning booking into a self-service and automated workflow.
Strategy
Discotech would give users exclusive access to so much more than event tickets. Guest lists, table reservations, venue pictures and more would all be part of the UX.
Design
The Jafton team was eager to build the app that checked all Discotech`s boxes. This meant building a UI that served users looking for nightlife as well as organizers at venues or events.
Developing
Technology including HTML 5 Google Analytics, jQuery, Viewport Meta, SPF, and languages compatible with iPhone and Android were used to build Discotech.
Testing
The Discotech app underwent Jafton’s rigorous beta testing, which is an ongoing part of the many agile iterations during and after development.

Going out is sometimes a last-minute thing. Major excitement can be overturned, however, after arriving at a venue where tables are all booked...or discovering that a new place doesn`t look like they said it would. Discotech gives users exclusive access to venue photos and availability, discounted guest lists, table reservations that the user can personally cancel, edit or rebook, and even a 24/7 devoted customer service line for all bookings and tickets.

Event promoters and venue managers love the user-guided workflows on Discotech, too. Users book and rebook with real-time updates to venue and event availability. No more expensive phone calls and seating reconfigurations or training staff to juggle the unexpected.
